I have several after-school appointments available for Fall Portrait Sessions, however, my editing queue is currently full to capacity.Īny appointments scheduled from now throughout the remainder of the fall season will not be ready for pick-up until after Christmas, due to an unforeseen circumstance that has delayed my editing workflow. Robin and her husband Tim reside in Continental, Ohio. Robin is currently involved with the BG Photo Group, and as a hobby, collects antique photo albums, daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, carte vistas and old photographs. She has been on the Volunteer Staff for Campus Life/Youth for Christ, involved with the YFC Wilderness Cabin and teaches Sunday morning Children’s Church at Kalida Family Outreach Center on a regular basis. This work was commissioned through the United States Capitol Historical Society. Robin traveled to Washington DC in March 2009 to help fellow photographer Katie Garlock photograph the New Member to Congress Reception at Statuary Hall. In September 2008, Robin resumed the portrait division and currently uses digital capture for all the design work and portraits she creates. She received training in graphic layout and design, and in January 2004 launched a design division under parent company Photobäk Portraits called Auglaize Design Studio. ![]() In November of 2003, Robin took a break from the portrait division of Photobäk Portraits. Robin has lectured for many photographic societies throughout the state of Ohio and Indiana on the design and use of an outdoor portrait park. The areas include a southwest barn setting, a wharf setting complete with dock, a beach area, lattice flower garden, a rock garden with lilies, rustic barn areas and split rail fencing, a European wall with bird bath and shutters, a Victorian archway draped with wisteria and numerous other original settings that are on the 5-acre Worline property. Along with formal and traditional studio images, Robin offers one-of-a-kind portraits within her landscaped outdoor studio areas. She services the market area of high school seniors, family portraits, children’s portraits, engagement and anniversary couples and a wide variety of distinctive portraits. In 1992 specialized her market specifically to studio and unique environmental portraiture. Robin photographed nearly 400 weddings from 1977 to 1992, with 56 of them being in 1988 alone. She has been a stage/pit photographer for RPI Productions, Crossroads Music Festival and the Alive Christian Music Festival. She was the contract photographer for Continental High School from 1991 to 1996 photographing seniors, groups clubs and proms. An article of Robin’s was published in the 2001 winter edition of The Rainbow, a magazine distributed nationally to professional photographers. In 1995, her portraits were featured in a national advertising campaign to promote the Kidz Club Portrait Contest, a competition sponsored by the nations leading photographic color laboratories. Robin has judged several photography contests including the Photography Exhibit at the Wassenberg Art Center in Van Wert. In 2008 she was awarded the Professional Photographers of Ohio President’s Award by PPO President Gregg Wurtzler. ![]() She was a commissioner for the Ohio Certified Professional Photographers for 3 years. Robin received her Photographic Craftsman Degree through the Professional Photographers of America in 1999. Robin served on the board of directors of the Professional Photographers of Ohio for 12 years and was PPO Membership Chairperson in 1996. In 1991 she founded the Lima Society of Professional Photographers and was president of the association for three years. She was a member of the Professional Photographers of Northwest Ohio from 1985 to 1991 where she served on the board of directors for two years. Robin was a member of the Professional Photographers of America and in 1988 was awarded her Certified Professional Photographer status through the PPA. ![]() She was presented with the prestigious CPP Visual Excellence Award in 2000. Since 1986, Robin has entered photographic competitions and has won several awards. Äk Portraits, Robin has taught adult education classes for Northwest Technical College (now Northwest State Community College), and has spoken for various clubs and organizations using slide presentations of her photographic images.
